This Privacy Policy explains how whatframerate LLC ("whatframerate," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with the ISO Timeline website, customer support, purchases, license activation, and related services.

1. Who is responsible

2. Information we process

Website use

The ISO Timeline website does not use analytics, advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or cookies set by us. Like nearly every website, infrastructure providers may necessarily receive technical request data such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, date and time, and security-related logs to deliver and protect the site.

Messages and support

If you contact us, we process the information you provide, including your name, email address, message, attachments, license or order details, and any diagnostic information you choose to send. Please do not send recordings, credentials, confidential client material, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

Purchases and licensing

Purchases and license delivery are handled through Lemon Squeezy. When you choose to visit its checkout or complete a purchase, Lemon Squeezy processes payment, billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and transaction information under its privacy policy. We receive the order and license information Lemon Squeezy makes available to sellers so we can deliver and support your license and maintain required business records. We do not receive or store complete payment-card numbers.

When ISO Timeline activates or validates a license, the licensing service processes the license and technical information necessary to issue, secure, and enforce the purchased activation allowance. It does not need your camera recordings, exported timelines, or other production media for license activation.

Production and session data

ISO Timeline is designed to process switching decisions, source mappings, file references, session information, and exported timeline data on your device. We do not receive your recordings or production data through ordinary use of the Software. We process such information only if you deliberately include it in a support request.

External links and video

The Site does not automatically load a third-party video player. If you follow a link to YouTube, Lemon Squeezy, or another external service, that provider receives your request and handles information under its own privacy policy. YouTube's privacy information is available in Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Why we process information

We process information only as needed to:

• provide the website, software, purchases, license activation, and customer support;
• perform our contract with you and deliver purchased licenses;
• protect the service, enforce license limits, prevent fraud, and diagnose failures;
• maintain business, tax, accounting, and legal records;
• comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests; and
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and consent where specifically requested.

4. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. We may disclose limited information to vendors that provide hosting, email, support, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and licensing services; to professional advisers under duties of confidentiality; in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or enforce our agreements.

Provider categories used for these purposes include Lemon Squeezy for checkout, payment, tax, license delivery, and activation, plus the infrastructure providers that host the Site and email. External services such as YouTube process information only when you choose to follow an external link. Providers process information under their own terms or on our behalf, as applicable.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, international transfers are supported by recognized safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above. Support correspondence is generally retained while needed to resolve the request and maintain an appropriate service history. Purchase, tax, fraud-prevention, and license records may be retained for the life of the license and afterward for applicable statutory, accounting, security, and limitation periods. We may retain information longer when required by law, subject to a legal hold, or needed to resolve a dispute.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; receive a portable copy; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights can be limited by law, including where information must be retained for tax, fraud-prevention, licensing, or legal-claim purposes.

Send requests to hello@isotimeline.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents must provide evidence of authorization where required.

8. Children

ISO Timeline is a professional production tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to us.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No transmission, system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, and you provide information at your own risk.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the product, providers, or law. The date above identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the website or communicated where required by law.
